Czech Republic holidays

Most people know the Czech Republic through Prague, but the country has much more: fairy-tale towns along its rivers, old spa towns with hot springs and the beer that gave pilsner its name.

Why visit the Czech Republic?

The Czech Republic sits in the heart of Europe, between Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Austria. It is known for well-preserved towns, castles and one of the oldest beer cultures in the world. The currency is the Czech koruna, and prices are often lower than in western Europe.

The capital, Prague, is the natural starting point, and many people settle for a city break there. But with a few extra days you can take the train or hire a car into the country. The Czech Republic is one of the countries in Europe we cover.
