Wadi Rum UFO Luxotel
Wake up in a round dome and the red mountains of Wadi Rum are already framed in the window beside your pillow.
The first thing you notice is the window. Each dome at UFO Luxotel has a wide pane turned towards the desert, and the bed is placed so the sandstone cliffs are the last thing you see at night and the first in the morning.
The camp sits in a pocket between the rock walls of Wadi Rum, the protected valley in southern Jordan known for its red sand and sheer mountains. Breakfast comes with the room, and the rest of the day belongs to the desert.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Wadi Rum UFO Luxotel
We chose it for the view. Among the camps in Wadi Rum, this one gives you a proper bed and a real sense of comfort while keeping the landscape right in front of you, day and night.
Do not expect a designer interior. The domes are plain inside, and the appeal is almost entirely the window. If you want a spa, a pool or room service, a night here is better as one stop on a longer trip.
