Corfu, Kos and Rhodes are around three and a half hours from the UK, and the flight often lands before lunch. By the afternoon you are by the pool with a Greek salad you have not paid for. That is why Greece is such an easy choice for all inclusive.

In short: all inclusive in Greece

The best all inclusive resorts in Greece are on Corfu, Kos, Rhodes and Halkidiki, with plenty of direct flights from the UK in season. The Ikos resorts include à la carte restaurants, good wine and a day of car hire. The season runs from May to October, and June and September are the calmest months for families.

Corfu: a green island with an old town

Corfu is the greenest of the Greek holiday islands, with olive groves running down to the water and an old town on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Dassia on the east coast has several of the island's best resorts.

Ikos Odisia: Dassia on Corfu

Ikos Odisia opened in 2023 in a bay near Dassia, about 20 minutes from the airport. The resort has eight restaurants, a private beach and its own kids' club for children from four, and the wine list runs to around 300 bottles. As at every Ikos resort, a day of car hire is included. It suits families who want a new resort close to the old town.

The bays on the west coast are the day out with the hire car. Pack swimwear, the water is clearer than on the east side.

Kos and Rhodes: the Dodecanese

Kos and Rhodes sit just off the coast of Turkey. Both have long beaches, and Rhodes adds the medieval old town in Rhodes Town and the white village of Lindos.

Ikos Aria: Kefalos on Kos

Ikos Aria sits near Kefalos on the south-west coast of Kos, on a Blue Flag beach about 20 minutes from the airport. The hotel has eight restaurants, buffet and à la carte are both included, and the kids' club is free. It suits families and couples who want good food without leaving the hotel every night.

Aulus Lindos Rhodes: Lardos on Rhodes

Aulus Lindos is near Lardos on the south-east coast of Rhodes, about eight kilometres from Lindos and an hour from the airport. It relaunched in April 2026 as an ultra all inclusive family resort, with four restaurants, a private beach and a Montessori-inspired kids' club. The concept is new, so most online reviews date from before the relaunch.

The boats moor right below the acropolis in Lindos. Lardos is a short drive away.

Halkidiki: the mainland near Thessaloniki

Halkidiki is the three peninsulas south of Thessaloniki, with pine forest running down to sandy beaches. It is less familiar to British visitors than the islands, but popular with Greeks themselves.

Ikos Olivia: Gerakini in Halkidiki

Ikos Olivia is near Gerakini, about an hour from Thessaloniki airport, with the beach right outside. It has six restaurants, including the Greek Ouzo, three outdoor pools and an indoor pool. The spa is for guests over 16. It suits anyone who wants the Ikos standard somewhere less busy.

When to go to Greece

The all inclusive season in Greece runs from May to October. June and September bring warm seas and fewer people, while July and August are the hottest and most expensive. In April and late October many resorts are closed.

How to choose all inclusive in Greece

Pick your island by who you travel with. Corfu and Halkidiki are green and quiet, Kos is flat and family friendly, and Rhodes has the most to see beyond the hotel.

Check the kids' club. Ikos clubs take children from four. Baby clubs and babysitting usually cost extra.

Use the car. The day of car hire at Ikos resorts is the easiest way to see the rest of the island.
