Best time to visit Costa Rica
The dry season, from December to April, is the most popular time to visit, especially on the Pacific coast. The green season, from May to November, brings afternoon rain, fewer visitors and lower prices, and the landscapes are at their most lush.
The Caribbean coast has a different pattern, and September and October are often among its driest months. Turtle nesting in Tortuguero peaks from July to October.
