La Badira

  • Adults only
  • Sea view rooms
  • Spa
  • Beachfront
  • Romantic

An adults-only hotel on the beach north of Hammamet, where every single room looks out to the Mediterranean.

Draw the curtains and it is just the sea, flat and blue, with the beach right below. No splashing from a children's pool, no music from an entertainment team. La Badira keeps to grown-ups, and the quiet is the first thing you notice.

The hotel stands on the shore north of central Hammamet, with several pools, a large spa and restaurants that focus on fish and Mediterranean food. The design is contemporary and restrained, all pale stone and clean lines.

Picolo’s verdict

Why we chose La Badira

This is our romantic pick in Tunisia. Couples get calm, attentive service and a sea view from every room, and guests speak warmly of the food. It is a hotel for doing very little, very well.

You are outside town, so the old medina and its cafés need a taxi each time. Families cannot stay, and anyone who wants nightlife on foot should look closer to the centre.

What you get

  • Several pools
  • Large spa
  • Beach right below the hotel
  • Fish and Mediterranean restaurants
  • Sea view from every room

Yes, every room faces the Mediterranean, so you do not need to pay extra or ask at check-in to wake up with the sea in front of you.
