Bulgari Resort Bali
A lift carries you from the cliff top villas down to a little beach of your own beneath the rock.
Stand at the edge of the pool and the cliff simply stops, with the Indian Ocean far below. Bulgari occupies a high stretch of the Uluwatu coast, and its villas are built from stone and wood that blend into the rock.
To reach the sea, you take an inclined lift down the cliff face to a small beach used only by guests. The rest of the time, the view does most of the work.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Bulgari Resort Bali
We chose it for couples who want seclusion and serious luxury. Few places on Bali give you this much ocean and this little company, and the villas are designed so that you are left alone.
It is one of the most expensive stays on the island, and it is remote, so you will mostly stay on site. The waves at the beach are not always calm enough to swim.

Not always. The surf can be strong, so on rough days the pool is the safer choice.
