The Oberoi Rajvilas
Moats, domed pavilions and a still pool in a walled garden outside Jaipur, where you can sleep in a luxury tent or a villa of your own.
The walls go up as you arrive, and the city falls away behind them. Rajvilas was designed as a miniature fort, with water channels, domed pavilions and a garden that takes up most of the grounds.
You choose how to sleep: a classic room, a tent with proper furnishings, or a villa with its own pool. The spa is in an old mansion within the walls, and it is the reason many guests plan a slow day in between the sights.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose The Oberoi Rajvilas
We chose Rajvilas for the calm. After a morning in the forts and bazaars of Jaipur, coming back to these gardens feels like a reset, and the spa is one of the strongest in India.
The drive into the city takes around half an hour each way, so this is not the place for quick trips back and forth. If you want to walk out of the door into the old city, Rambagh or a city hotel suits you better.
