Siorra Vittoria Boutique Hotel
An old town mansion with a handful of rooms, where breakfast is laid out under the trees in its own garden.
The morning starts in the garden, with breakfast at tables set beneath the trees while the lanes outside are still quiet. Inside, the old mansion is furnished with antiques, and with only a few rooms the house rarely feels busy.
Corfu’s old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site shaped by Venetian, French and British rule, begins at the front door. The kantounia, the narrow stone lanes, lead you to tavernas, churches and the Liston arcade, where the town drinks its coffee.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Siorra Vittoria Boutique Hotel
We chose it as our design pick for Corfu. It is a small, quiet house with real history, right in the middle of the old town, and the garden gives you somewhere calm to return to after a day in the lanes and the crowds.
There is no pool and no beach. To swim you need a taxi or a bus out of town, so if your days are mostly about the sea, a resort on the coast will suit you better.
What you get
- Garden with breakfast under the trees
- Only a few rooms
- Rooms furnished with antiques
- Cafés on the Liston close by
- Tavernas in the old town lanes
