MarBella Corfu
White buildings step down a hillside to the sea south of Corfu Town, and from many of the rooms the first thing you see is water.
Open the balcony door and the Ionian Sea lies right below the terraces. MarBella is built down the slope towards the shore, with a pool on the way and a small beach at the bottom.
It is a modern resort with good standards, which makes it easy to split the days between swimming and outings. Corfu Town lies to the north, close enough for an afternoon in the old town and back in time for dinner by the sea.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose MarBella Corfu
We chose it for couples and families who want a contemporary resort with the sea in view, without being far from town. It does the basics well and lets you mix beach days with the old town easily.
The hillside is the catch. Getting from your room to the beach means steps and slopes, so it is a poor fit for anyone who finds walking hard, or for families pushing a buggy.
