Grecotel Corfu Imperial
A resort at the far end of the Kommeno peninsula, where villas with their own pools look across the bay to Corfu Town.
From a villa terrace, the view runs over the bay to the rooftops of Corfu Town and on to the mountains of mainland Greece. Below, the gardens slope down to the beaches that ring the end of the peninsula.
Many of the villas have a pool of their own, which changes the feel of a big resort completely. Town is around fifteen minutes away by car, but with good restaurants on site, plenty of guests barely leave Kommeno.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Grecotel Corfu Imperial
We picked it for space and privacy. Couples and families get a proper luxury resort with beaches and gardens, and the villas make it easy to stay a week or two without feeling that you share the place with everyone else.
It is expensive, and it is big. If you want to spend most evenings in the old town, the drive in and out each night soon gets tiresome, and a hotel in town would suit you better.
