Wynn Las Vegas
Walk in and the first thing you meet is an atrium of real flowers and trees, with the casino kept politely out of view.
Most Strip hotels lead you straight into the slot machines. Wynn starts with flowers instead: an atrium planted with real blooms and trees, where the noise of the casino feels a long way off.
Out the back, screened from the road, are a golf course and a pool complex that passers-by never see. The rooms have glass from floor to ceiling, looking either towards the mountains or down the length of the Strip.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Wynn Las Vegas
Wynn is our choice for luxury with room to breathe. It is close enough to the shows to go out every night, and calm enough that coming back feels like leaving Vegas for a while.
It is one of the more expensive hotels in town. The centre of the Strip is too far to walk comfortably in summer, so budget for taxis if you plan to spend your evenings further south.
What you get
- Atrium filled with real flowers and trees
- Own golf course behind the hotel
- Pool complex hidden from the street
- Floor-to-ceiling windows towards mountains or Strip
- Taxis to the Center Strip
A day at Wynn Las Vegas
- Morning
- Early tee time on the course before the desert heat builds.
- Midday
- A slow coffee in the flower atrium.
- Afternoon
- Pool time out of sight of the street.
- Evening
- A taxi south for a show, then back to the quiet.

Open in MapsQuestions about Wynn Las Vegas
Does Wynn Las Vegas have a golf course?
Yes. A golf course lies behind the hotel, hidden from the street along with the pool complex.
Can you walk from Wynn Las Vegas to the Center Strip?
You can, but it is a long walk and hard going in summer heat. Most guests take a taxi to the middle of the Strip and walk back only on mild evenings.
What views do rooms at Wynn Las Vegas have?
Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows facing either the mountains or the Strip, so it is worth asking which side you will get.
