The Venetian Resort
Gondolas drift along indoor canals under a painted sky, and upstairs every room is a suite with space for the whole group to spread out.
Inside The Venetian you walk along a canal with gondolas, past shopfronts under a ceiling painted to look like an Italian sky. It is pure stage set, and it knows it.
The serious part is upstairs. Every room is a suite with a separate living area, which gives you far more floor space than a standard Strip room. For a group sharing or a family that needs somewhere to put the suitcases, that matters.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose The Venetian Resort
We picked The Venetian for space. Few hotels on the Strip give you a sofa, a sitting area and room to breathe as standard, and when three or four people share, the difference is felt every morning.
The resort is vast, and the walk from your suite to the street can take longer than you expect. If you want a small hotel, a quiet bar and a sense of intimacy, look elsewhere.
What you get
- Every room is a suite with a sitting area
- Gondola rides on the indoor canals
- Outdoor pool area
- Many restaurants within the resort
- Room for families to spread out
A day at The Venetian Resort
- Morning
- Breakfast in the suite while everyone gets ready in their own corner.
- Midday
- A gondola ride on the canal before the shops fill up.
- Afternoon
- The pool, or a long walk through the resort if the heat is too much.
- Evening
- Dinner in the resort, then out onto the Strip for the lights.
