The Cosmopolitan
Step out onto your own terrace with a coffee and watch the Bellagio fountains below, a rare thing in a city where windows stay shut.
Most hotel windows in Las Vegas are sealed, so fresh air is something you go downstairs for. At The Cosmopolitan, many rooms come with a terrace, and from the right side of the building the Bellagio fountains are right below you.
The hotel is newer than most of its neighbours and leans towards design rather than gilt. Its bars draw people who live in the city, not just guests, and the pool deck turns into a party when the summer heat arrives.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose The Cosmopolitan
We chose it for the terrace. Being able to stand outside in the evening air, with the Strip glowing and the fountains rising below, changes how a Vegas stay feels. The bars and restaurants are a real reason to stay in.
This is a hotel for couples and friends who want the city around them. With small children you will find quieter places to stay, and the summer pool scene is loud rather than restful.

Do all rooms at The Cosmopolitan have a balcony?
Not all, but many rooms have their own terrace, which is unusual in Las Vegas. Check the room type when booking if outdoor space matters to you.
Is The Cosmopolitan good for families?
It is aimed more at couples and groups of friends, with busy bars and a pool that gets lively. Families with young children will usually prefer a calmer hotel.
Can you see the Bellagio fountains from The Cosmopolitan?
Yes, from rooms on the right side of the building. The hotel stands next to Bellagio, so the fountains are directly below some of the terraces.
