Jumeirah Al Naseem
The sail of the Burj Al Arab rises just along the sand, and between you and the Gulf lies a private beach and a choice of five pools.
Lie on the sand at Al Naseem and the Burj Al Arab fills one side of the view, a short walk along the shore. The resort is part of the Madinat Jumeirah complex in Umm Suqeim, on one of the best stretches of beach in Dubai.
It is built for long, warm days: its own beach, five outdoor pools, eight places to eat, with rooms that start at a generous 51 m². In winter the sun is strong but not punishing, which is exactly when you want to be here.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Jumeirah Al Naseem
Our pick for reliable beach weather in the European winter. The flight is long enough to feel like an escape but short enough for a week, and the resort has the space and choice to keep everyone busy.
Dubai is polished and expensive, and a beach resort here is a world away from wild nature or local village life. If you want rustic, quiet or cheap, this is the wrong trip.
