The Shore Club Turks and Caicos
Shallow turquoise water stretching far from shore, kites in the sky and a resort that has the whole of Long Bay more or less to itself.
Wade out and the water barely reaches your knees, even a long way from the sand. On windy days the sky over Long Bay fills with kites, and The Shore Club stands by itself along the shore, with no neighbours to share the view.
With its pools, spa and beach club, the resort works as a world of its own. Grace Bay, with its restaurants and better swimming, is a drive of around ten minutes when you want a change of scene.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose The Shore Club Turks and Caicos
We like it for space and calm, and for the chance to learn kitesurfing straight from the beach. Families get room to spread out, and couples get a quiet that Grace Bay rarely offers in high season.
When the wind is up, Long Bay is better for kites than for swimming, and you will want Grace Bay for a proper swim. You also need a car or taxis to eat anywhere other than the hotel.

Yes. Long Bay is one of the island's best-known kitesurfing spots, and the shallow water makes it a forgiving place for beginners.
Is The Shore Club far from Grace Bay?
It takes roughly ten minutes by car to reach Grace Bay. Plan on taxis or a hire car if you want to eat out beyond the hotel.
Is the beach at The Shore Club good for swimming?
On calm days the shallow water is lovely for paddling and for children. When the wind is strong it suits kitesurfers more than swimmers, and Grace Bay is the better option.
