Park Hyatt Istanbul Maçka Palas
Behind the bathroom door waits your own marble hammam, warm stone bench and brass fittings included, so the steam is yours alone.
Many rooms here come with their own Turkish bath: a marble hammam with a warm bench and brass taps, where you can steam and scrub without sharing the space with strangers. It is the detail that makes guests return.
The hotel fills an art deco building in Nişantaşı, the neighbourhood of Istanbul’s priciest boutiques and some of its best restaurants. It is not large, and it feels more like a private apartment building than a grand hotel.
