Windjammer Landing

  • Family villas
  • Private pools
  • Kids' club
  • Watersports
  • Labrelotte Bay

White villas stacked up a green hillside above Labrelotte Bay, where families get a pool, a kitchen and room to spread out.

From the top of the resort the view drops over red roofs and palms to the curve of Labrelotte Bay. The villas and apartments are built in a white, Mediterranean style, and many come with a plunge pool of their own, so the day can start with a swim before anyone has found their sandals.

Down by the water there are watersports, a kids' club and a choice of restaurants, which matters on an island where eating out usually means a drive. Castries lies a little to the south and Rodney Bay a little to the north, so neither the capital nor the island's liveliest strip is far off.

Picolo’s verdict

Why we chose Windjammer Landing

We chose Windjammer for families because it solves the practical things. You get space to spread out, a kitchen for easy breakfasts and a pool outside the door, while the kids' club gives parents a few hours of their own.

The hillside is steep, and you will rely on the shuttle between villa and beach more than you might like. Parents with prams or toddlers should ask for a villa low down, close to the sand.

What you get

  • Villas and apartments with room for a family
  • Private pools in many villas
  • Kids' club

  • Several restaurants on site
