Jetwing Lake
A big pool by a quiet lake, hills on the horizon, and the cave temples of Dambulla only minutes away by car.
Jetwing Lake is a clean-lined, modern hotel on the shore of a small lake just outside Dambulla. Rooms are bright and comfortable, and from many of them you look out over the water towards the hills.
Its real strength is the location. The painted cave temples of Dambulla are a short drive away, and the rock fortress of Sigiriya is close enough for an early start, so the hotel works well as a base for two or three nights.

Why we chose Jetwing Lake
We chose it for travellers who want modern comfort and a central spot in the Cultural Triangle, without a long drive to the main sights each morning.
This is a large hotel, and it feels like one. If you want a small, characterful place or a sense of the jungle around you, it is not the right fit.
