Nakar Hotel
A modern hotel above Palma’s main shopping street, with a rooftop pool and bar that look across to the cathedral and the bay.
From the roof terrace you see the cathedral and the bay, and below you the shoppers on Jaume III. Nakar is one of the few modern hotels in central Palma, with clean lines and light rooms instead of heavy island furniture.
The location works for almost everything: the old town is a short walk one way, the Passeig Mallorca and its canal the other, and taxis to the beach are easy to find on the avenue.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Nakar Hotel
We chose it because it gives you the centre of Palma, a rooftop pool and a good breakfast at a price well below the palace hotels nearby. That leaves more of the budget for dinners out.
You trade atmosphere for convenience. If you came to Mallorca to sleep in an old stone house with a courtyard, this will feel like a city hotel anywhere in Europe.
