Can Bordoy Grand House & Garden
A restored palace near La Llotja where breakfast is served in a walled garden, with a pool hidden among the old trees.
Behind a plain door on a side street, the noise of the old town drops away. Can Bordoy has a proper garden, with mature trees and a pool between them, something very few hotels inside Palma’s old walls can match.
The house itself is a restored palace near Plaça de la Llotja and the waterfront. Old walls and furniture sit alongside modern art, bold colour and big beds, and every room is laid out a little differently.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Can Bordoy Grand House & Garden
We picked it for the garden. Having shade, trees and a pool in the middle of the old town changes the whole stay, and the restaurant is good enough that you may not want to eat anywhere else.
This is the expensive end of Palma, and it feels grown-up. Families with small children and anyone travelling on a tight budget will be happier elsewhere in the city.
