The Standard, Ibiza
A rooftop pool and bar in the middle of Ibiza Town, with Dalt Vila on one side and the harbour on the other.
From the roof, you look across to the walls of Dalt Vila and down to the yachts in the harbour. The Standard, Ibiza is right in the centre of Ibiza Town, and up here there is a pool open in season and a bar beside it.
Downstairs there is a garden and two restaurants cooking Spanish food. The old town, the Botafoch marina, the shops and the boats to Formentera are all close enough to reach on foot.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose The Standard, Ibiza
This is our design pick. It is modern and playful without being cold, and the rooftop is one of the best places in town to watch the harbour. Couples and friends who want restaurants and nightlife outside the door will feel at home.
It is a town hotel, so evenings are not quiet, and on some rates breakfast is not included. The rooftop pool is seasonal. If you want a beach rather than a city break, Talamanca is the better base.
