Hacienda Na Xamena
High on the north-west cliffs, with nothing between the terraces and the horizon but open sea and the evening sun.
The road climbs and twists through the pines until it stops at the edge of the cliffs. Hacienda Na Xamena looks down over the bay at Sant Miquel on Ibiza's north-west coast, and from the terraces and many of the rooms you see only sea.
Inside you find a spa, a roof terrace and an art gallery, along with a bar by the pool and the Edén restaurant. For swimming coves and village restaurants, the north coast is a quick drive down the hill.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Hacienda Na Xamena
This is our romantic pick on Ibiza. The position on the cliff and the sunsets over the sea make it the hotel for couples with something to celebrate, and for anyone who wants nature and luxury far from the parties.
It is remote, and the approach is a winding road, so you will want a car. Those planning nights out in Ibiza Town or Sant Antoni will spend a lot of time on the road.
