Princesa Yaiza
A resort laid out like a Canarian village of squares and lanes, with Playa Dorada at the gate and Fuerteventura on the horizon.
Princesa Yaiza sits right on Playa Dorada, one of the calmest beaches in Playa Blanca at the southern tip of Lanzarote. The resort is built like a small Canarian village, with white walls, little squares and lanes between the buildings.
The suites are large, so parents and children can each have their own space. There are several pools, a kids' club and a long list of activities, and the promenade takes you to the marina and the town on foot.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Princesa Yaiza
We chose Princesa Yaiza as our family pick in Lanzarote. Beach, pools and children's activities are all within the same grounds, and the suites give a family room to breathe. It also works well for grandparents travelling with grandchildren.
In school holidays it is lively and full of children, which is the point but not for everyone. Couples looking for quiet should choose an adults-only hotel instead.
