Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa
A drink at the top of the only tower on Lanzarote, looking down on rooftops, fishing boats and a line of volcanoes inland.
Lanzarote keeps its buildings low, a rule the island adopted to protect its landscape. This tower went up before that, and it is still the one place where you can see the whole of Arrecife at once, from the bar and restaurant on the top floor.
Down at street level you have the town beach, a spa and the everyday life of the capital: tapas bars, a market and the small lagoon of El Charco de San Ginés, where fishing boats still tie up among the cafés.

Why we chose Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa
Choose it for a short break, a first or last night on the island, or a road trip. Arrecife sits in the middle of the coast, close to the airport, and you get a beach and a spa as well as a real town.
This is a working capital, not a holiday resort. If you want a pool scene and a week of lazing, the south of the island will suit you better than a city hotel.
