Ikos Andalusia
Breakfast looks out over the Mediterranean, and by evening the only decision left is which of the resort restaurants to book.
The sea is in front of you, the mountains of Andalusia rise behind, and the bill is settled before you arrive. Ikos Andalusia is the Spanish outpost of Ikos, a Greek group known for upmarket all-inclusive resorts.
Meals, drinks and most activities are part of the price, and you choose between several restaurants instead of queueing at one buffet. Days tend to move slowly between the beach, the pools and the table.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Ikos Andalusia
We chose it for families and friends who want a hassle-free week on the Spanish coast with a higher standard than ordinary all-inclusive. The cost is known in advance, and children have plenty to keep them busy.
A resort this complete makes it tempting never to leave, and you miss the tapas bars and white villages of Andalusia. Couples looking for character and quiet may prefer a smaller hotel.
