Triglav Bled
A restored house on the hillside above the lake, where dinner on the terrace comes with the island, the castle and the Alps behind.
From the terrace the whole lake opens up below you: the island with its church, the castle on the rock and the mountains further back. This early 1900s house has been carefully brought back to life as an intimate hotel.
It sits on the slope near the parish church, a little above the bustle of the promenade. The kitchen buys from the farms around Bled, which makes the restaurant a reason to stay in for dinner.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Triglav Bled
We chose Triglav for couples who want something personal. It is small, the food is local and the view from the terrace is one you will want to come back to every evening.
Getting down to the water means a short but steep walk, and the climb back up is the price of the view. Anyone with limited mobility or small children in a pushchair should think twice.
