STORY Seychelles
Step from a garden villa onto the long sweep of Beau Vallon, with dive boats bobbing offshore and beach bars a short stroll along the sand.
Beau Vallon is the beach where Mahé comes to swim, and STORY Seychelles sits directly on it. The villas are spread through a big tropical garden, and many come with a pool of their own a few steps from the sand.
Unlike most Seychelles resorts, this one has a town on its doorstep. Restaurants, beach bars and dive centres line the bay, so you can eat out, book a dive or simply walk the length of the beach at sunset.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose STORY Seychelles
Pick STORY if you want a long beach and a bit of life around you. It is the rare Seychelles hotel where going out for dinner on foot is easy, and the swimming off Beau Vallon is good for much of the year.
Beau Vallon is popular, and the beach is busier than the secluded bays of the south. If you came to the Seychelles for silence and a cove to yourself, this is not that trip.
What you get
- Directly on Beau Vallon beach
- Villas in a large tropical garden
- Private pool in many villas
- Dive centres along the bay
- Restaurants and beach bars within walking distance
