Mango House Seychelles
A narrow point of land with water on both sides, white and blue rooms, and dinner served on a deck that juts out over the sea.
Mango House occupies a small rocky point on the quiet south-west coast of Mahé, so wherever you stand there is sea in front of you. One bay lies on the left, another on the right, and the restaurant is built out over the water between them.
It is one of the newer hotels on the island, and it looks it: rooms are fresh, bright and dressed in white and blue. Several pools make up for beaches that are on the small side.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Mango House Seychelles
We like it for couples who want something contemporary rather than classic colonial. The setting on the point is striking, and this stretch of coast is calm, green and far from the busier north.
The beaches beside the hotel are small, so if long walks on sand matter, you will want a car. Anse Intendance, one of Mahé's longest and wildest beaches, is a short drive away.
