Four Seasons Resort Seychelles
A villa up in the canopy, a plunge pool on the deck and, far below, a curve of white sand that few people other than guests ever reach.
From the deck of your villa you look down through the trees to Petite Anse, a sheltered bay on the south-west of Mahé. The resort is built up a steep slope, so most villas feel private, with a pool of their own and the sea filling the view.
The spa sits right at the top, and a buggy takes you down to the beach whenever you want it. The bay is small and quiet, and in the morning the water can lie almost flat.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Four Seasons Resort Seychelles
This is where we would send a couple who wants privacy above all. The villas are tucked into the hillside, the beach below rarely feels crowded and the whole place is built around slowing down.
You are a long drive from Victoria and from the restaurants at Beau Vallon, so most meals will be at the hotel. The slope is steep, and if you dislike relying on buggies, a flatter resort may suit you better.
What you get
- Villas in the trees above the bay
- Private pool with each villa
- Beach at Petite Anse below the resort
- Spa at the top of the hill
- Buggy service between villa and beach

The villas are set on the hillside and come with a private pool and views over the bay, which is the main reason couples choose it.
