Constance Lemuria
A fairway that runs towards the sea, villas on the slope above, and Anse Georgette waiting at the end of a short walk through the resort.
On the north-west corner of Praslin, Constance Lemuria has three beaches to itself, and one of them is Anse Georgette, regularly ranked among the loveliest anywhere. Arrive early and you may have that pale sand almost to yourself.
Golfers come for the course, the only 18-hole layout in the country, which climbs over the hills behind the beaches. The villas are set higher up the slope, looking down over the treetops to the water.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Constance Lemuria
This is our choice for anyone who wants a great beach and a round of golf in the same stay. The setting between hills and sea is hard to beat, and three beaches means room to spread out.
Lemuria sits at the far end of Praslin, so trips to the rest of the island take planning, and prices are among the highest on the island. If golf means nothing to you, you are paying for land you will not use.
What you get
