Picolo recommends · Hotel in Lusail, Qatar
Raffles Doha
Your suite sits high in a crescent-shaped tower, with the bay on one side and a new city still rising on the other.
The two curved Katara Towers in Lusail have quickly become a landmark, and Raffles fills one of them. There are no standard rooms here, only suites, and each comes with its own butler.
From the windows you see across the water and over Lusail, the planned city north of Doha. Down below you have a big spa and a beach of your own, so a stay can be as quiet as you want it to be.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Raffles Doha
It is our romantic pick in Qatar. For an anniversary or the final nights of a long journey, the space, the views and the service add up to something that feels properly special.
Rates are among the highest in the country. Lusail is still being built in places, and the old town is a long taxi ride away, so this is not the base for a busy sightseeing stopover.
