Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon
A morning lap of the rooftop running track, with Parque Eduardo VII below you and the whole city tumbling down to the Tagus.
The Ritz has been the classic address for luxury in Lisbon since the 1950s. Portuguese art and tapestries from that era still hang in the public rooms, and the scale is generous throughout, from the halls to the windows facing the park.
Up top, a running track circles the roof, with the city laid out below all the way to the river. Below, the spa and restaurant mean you can spend a whole day without leaving, which is exactly how many guests like it.

Why we chose Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon
Few hotels in Lisbon do big, quiet and polished as well as this one. The service is experienced, the rooms are calm, and the hotel is a reason to come in itself rather than just a place to sleep.
You are some way from the old town: the centre is about ten minutes by Metro or a good stretch on foot, and the streets around are more offices than cafés. Choose Chiado or Alfama if you want to step straight out into the city.
