Sheraton Grand Kraków
Wawel Castle across the road and the Vistula outside your window, from a big, well-run hotel on the riverbank.
The hotel faces the Vistula from the bank directly below Wawel, so the castle walls are the first thing you see when you step outside. Rooms on the river side look over the water and its bridges.
Inside, it is a large international hotel built around a bright atrium, with a pool, a gym and proper parking, which is rare this close to the centre. In the warmer months the rooftop bar opens with a view straight across to the castle.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Sheraton Grand Kraków
We picked the Sheraton for travellers who value space and reliability, and for families who want bigger rooms and a pool after a day on their feet. The riverside walk into the Old Town is one of the nicest in Krakow.
It lacks the character of the old townhouses in the Old Town. If you want something small, personal and full of history, one of the hotels on Kanonicza or around the square will suit you better.
