Miraflores Park, A Belmond Hotel
A pool on the roof, the Pacific far below and the clifftop path of Miraflores starting just outside the door.
Lima is built right up to the edge of tall cliffs, and Miraflores Park stands on that edge. From the rooms you look straight out over the Pacific, and on the roof there is a pool where the only thing beyond the water is more water.
Miraflores is the district most visitors choose, and for good reason. The clifftop promenade runs past the hotel, and some of the best restaurants in a city famous for food are a short walk or taxi away.

Why we chose Miraflores Park, A Belmond Hotel
This is our first choice in Lima. It is small enough to feel personal, guests rate it consistently highly, and it puts you between the ocean and the dining scene that most people come to Lima for.
You pay Belmond prices, and Miraflores is polished rather than gritty. If you want the historic centre and its colonial squares, you will be taking taxis across a large and often congested city.
What you get
- Pool on the roof above the sea
- Rooms facing the Pacific
- Restaurant on site
- Belmond service
- Clifftop promenade outside
A day at Miraflores Park, A Belmond Hotel

- Midday
- Ceviche for lunch, the way Lima eats it, at a cevichería nearby.

- A few lengths in the rooftop pool high above the coast.
- Evening
- A slow walk along the Malecón, the clifftop promenade, as the sun sets.

Where is Miraflores Park in Lima?
It stands on the clifftop in Miraflores, the coastal district most visitors pick, with the Malecón promenade right outside and the Pacific below.
Does Miraflores Park have a pool?
Yes. The pool is on the roof, with views over the ocean, which makes it one of the more memorable places to swim in Lima.
Is Miraflores Park a good base for the historic centre of Lima?
It works, but you will need a taxi. The colonial centre is a fair drive away, and traffic in Lima can be slow at rush hour.
