Radisson Blu Atlantic Hotel
From the upper floors you look down on the little lake in the city park, the cathedral beside it and the rooftops sloping to the harbour.
Ducks paddle on Breiavatnet, the small lake at the heart of Stavanger, and the cathedral spire rises behind the trees. Radisson Blu Atlantic stands right on the water, one of the biggest hotels in the city and one of its taller buildings.
This is a hotel that runs smoothly. There is room to spread out in the lobby with a laptop, breakfast is generous, and the railway station and bus terminal are across the road for trips south along the coast or out of town.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Radisson Blu Atlantic Hotel
We chose the Atlantic for travellers who want no surprises. It is central, efficient and comfortable, and a room high up gives you one of the best views over the centre of Stavanger.
It is a big chain hotel and feels like one. If you want a small place with personality, or a room on the harbour itself, the hotels on Vågen and Skagenkaien suit you better.
