Four Seasons Resort Marrakech
Low pavilions among olive trees, one pool for grown-ups and one for families, and the Menara Gardens just across the road.
The children head for the club, which has its own entrance and garden, and you take a lounger by the adults' pool. Around you, paths run between olive trees and low pavilions, laid out like a large Moroccan garden.
The resort is in Hivernage, the leafy hotel district just outside the medina walls, opposite the Menara Gardens. The souks are about ten minutes away by taxi, close enough for an afternoon and far enough to sleep well.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Four Seasons Resort Marrakech
This is our family pick in Marrakech. Children get space and a club of their own, parents get peace and a spa, and the rooms and bathrooms are generous after a hot day in the medina.
It feels like a resort rather than part of the city. Hivernage is quiet during the day and there is little to walk to, so if you want Marrakech outside the door, a riad in the medina suits you better.
What you get
- Kids' club with its own garden
- Separate adults' and family pools
- Spa
- Gardens with olive trees
- Taxi to the medina in about ten minutes
