Port Palace
A small hotel set over Port Hercule, where breakfast comes with a window full of yachts and harbour life down below.
Below the breakfast table, crews polish brass and tenders slip between the yachts. Port Palace looks straight down on Port Hercule, and that view is the reason to stay: you get the harbour as a live show from your own room.
This is a small, personal hotel, very different from the grand names around the casino. Rooms are compact compared with the big hotels, but the scale means staff soon know who you are, and the harbour promenade starts at the door.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Port Palace
We chose Port Palace for travellers who want privacy and a view rather than a famous lobby. Watching the harbour wake up from your window is one of the best ways to see how Monaco actually works.
Space is the trade-off. Rooms are smaller than at the palace hotels, and there is little resort feel here, so it suits a city stay better than a long pool holiday.
