Hotel Neiburgs
An art nouveau facade outside, spacious modern rooms inside, and from the upper floors a view across red roofs to the Dome Cathedral.
Look up before you go in. The facade and the old staircase still carry their original art nouveau details, the decorative style Riga is famous for, with curves, faces and flowers worked into the stone.
Upstairs the rooms are contemporary and generous, and several come with a small kitchen. The best of them look over the Old Town roofs to the cathedral spire, which is reason enough to ask for a high floor.

Why we chose Hotel Neiburgs
Neiburgs is our romantic choice in Riga. It mixes a historic building with modern comfort, adds a spa and a good restaurant, and puts a couple right in the Old Town for a long weekend.
The street outside is central and can get loud, especially on weekend nights. Rooms lower down catch more of it, so request an upper floor when you book. Families on a budget will find better value elsewhere.
