Petra Moon Luxury Hotel
A swim on the roof after a day in the dust, with the hills of Wadi Musa around you and the visitor centre just down the street.
The pool is up on the roof, and that is where most guests end the day: legs aching, skin warm, looking out over the town that grew up around Petra. The visitor centre and the gate are a short walk away.
Petra Moon is a smaller place, with light, modern rooms and a spa. Staff will sort out guides and tickets for you, which saves time when you want to be inside the site early.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Petra Moon Luxury Hotel
We chose it for travellers who want to be close to Petra but prefer a newer, brighter hotel. The rooftop pool and the spa make the hours after the ruins feel like part of the holiday.
The hotel sits in the middle of town, with shops and restaurants right outside, so the street is busy. If you want calm and space around you, Petra Moon is not the place for it.
