Anantara The Marker Dublin
From the rooftop bar you look across the quays and the theatre, while the swimming pool waits several floors below street level.
The Marker is easy to spot: a facade of windows set in an uneven chequerboard on Grand Canal Square, the open plaza in Dublin's Docklands. Its neighbours are the theatre and the red-paved square in front of it.
Up top there is a bar with views over the old quays. Down in the basement you find a pool and a spa, which in this city of rain is a real advantage when the weather closes in.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Anantara The Marker Dublin
The Marker earns its place with things few central Dublin hotels offer together: a pool, a spa and a rooftop bar. It works well for families who need space and for anyone in town for business in the Docklands.
Everything here is contemporary, from the building to the neighbourhood. If your Dublin is old brick, open fires and a pub on the corner, the Docklands will feel a little corporate, especially at weekends.
