Holiday Inn Express Gibraltar
A modern, no-nonsense hotel in the middle of town, where breakfast is included and an Italian restaurant waits downstairs.
Gibraltar is small, and most of what you come for is on foot from here: Main Street, the squares and the start of the climb up the Rock. You will not spend much time in the room, and that is fine.
Rooms are plain and up to date, breakfast is in the price, and there is a terrace for an evening drink. Nunos, the Italian restaurant on site, saves you a search for dinner.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Holiday Inn Express Gibraltar
We include it because Gibraltar is not cheap, and this keeps the cost down without cutting corners. Guests rate it well, and it is an easy pick for one or two nights.
There is no pool, no view to speak of and little character. If the hotel itself matters to you, the Rock Hotel or the Sunborn will feel like more of an occasion.

How Picolo chooses
Our editors pick every hotel themselves, and most of them we have stayed at. No hotel can pay to be included or ranked higher. When you book through our links, Hotels.com pays Picolo a small commission. It never changes the price you pay, and it never decides what we write.
