A pool that looks out to the open sea at the mouth of Willemstad's harbour, with the old walls of Rif Fort beside you and Punda across the water.
From the pool you watch ships slide through the harbour entrance on their way into the city. Renaissance Wind Creek stands beside Rif Fort, an old harbour fortification in Otrobanda, the district on the western side of Willemstad's channel.
Since a renovation in 2020 the hotel has felt fresh, and it covers a lot in one place: a pool facing the sea, a small beach of its own, a casino and four restaurants. Punda is on the other side of the water, reached by the floating bridge.

We picked it for travellers who want to be in the centre without giving up a pool and a patch of sand. Few hotels in Willemstad put the old town, the sea and this many places to eat so close together.
The cruise terminal is next door, so the area can be crowded on days when ships are in port. The beach is small. If you are after quiet or a long stretch of sand, choose a hotel further along the coast.
