Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort
Several pools, a beach on Piscadera Bay and big rooms with balconies over the sea, so the whole family can settle in without ever needing the car.
The children are in the pool before breakfast is finished, and there is another one waiting when they get bored. Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort spreads out along Piscadera Bay, west of the city, with its own beach, two beach bars and a spa to retreat to.
The rooms are generous, and a good share have balconies looking out to sea, which makes a big difference on a long stay. Willemstad's old town is a quick taxi ride away when you want an evening out.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort
This is our family choice on Curaçao. Beach, pools and food are all within a few steps, so nobody has to plan the day. The large rooms give everyone some space, and it is easy to combine lazy days with trips around the island.
It is a big resort, and it lacks the personal touch of the small hotels in the city. Couples looking for character and evenings out on foot will probably prefer Pietermaai or Punda.
