We picked Kenoa as a romantic choice. A private pool, a calm beach and very few other people around make it a place for couples who want to switch off together rather than plan a busy holiday.
It is expensive, and there is not much to do outside the gates. Families, travellers on a budget and anyone who wants restaurants and nightlife within walking distance will be happier in Maceió or further up the coast.
