Juliana Hotel
Velvet and brass inside, oyster bars at the door: a small design hotel where the old fish market becomes your dining room each evening.
At dusk the square outside fills up: plates of oysters, glasses of white wine and the clatter of the fish stalls. Juliana sits right on this edge of Sainte-Catherine, the old harbour quarter where the city's fish market once traded.
Indoors it is all velvet, brass and art, with a bar for the evening and a small pool hidden in the basement. There are not many rooms, which keeps the mood intimate, and the Grand-Place is about ten minutes on foot.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Juliana Hotel
Juliana is our design choice in Brussels, and the one we would book for a food-loving couple. Few hotels let you step from a stylish room straight into one of the liveliest dining corners of the city.
Prices are high, and with only a handful of rooms it can sell out early. Families and travellers who want space or peace in the evenings will be happier on Avenue Louise.
