Rosewood Baha Mar
A sea-view terrace on Cable Beach, a big spa downstairs and a casino you can ignore entirely if you choose.
The loungers on the terrace face the water, and in the morning the only sound is the sea on Cable Beach. Rosewood has the fewest rooms of the three Baha Mar hotels, and you notice it in the calm.
Step outside the hotel and the rest of the resort opens up: a casino, a golf course and Baha Bay, the water park. You get the choice without having to sleep in the middle of it.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Rosewood Baha Mar
We picked Rosewood because it solves the big-resort problem. You have the pools, the golf and the water park within reach, yet your own hotel stays light, spacious and quiet, with a spa worth the trip.
The sand in front is public and shared with the neighbouring hotels, so do not expect a private beach. Rates sit at the top of the island, and the courtyard-facing rooms lose much of the point.
What you get
- Terraces facing the beach
- Large spa
- Cable Beach in front
- Golf and water park in the wider resort
- Restaurants across Baha Mar
A day at Rosewood Baha Mar
- Morning
- Coffee on your terrace before the beach fills up.
- Midday
- A swim off Cable Beach while the water is still flat.
- Afternoon
- A long treatment in the spa during the hottest hours.
- Evening
- Dinner somewhere else in Baha Mar, then back to the quiet.

Is Rosewood Baha Mar good for families?
Yes, children can spend their days at Baha Bay, the resort water park, and return to a calmer hotel in the evening. Book a sea-view room so the family has space outdoors.
Does Rosewood Baha Mar have a private beach?
No. The beach on Cable Beach is public and the Baha Mar hotels share it, though it rarely feels crowded right in front of the Rosewood terraces.
Which room should I book at Rosewood Baha Mar?
Go for a sea-view room. The best ones have a terrace that opens almost directly onto the water, which is the reason to stay here.
