Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort
A harbourside hotel in Oranjestad where a boat leaves from inside the lobby for a private island and a beach where flamingos walk on the sand.
The boat pulls away from inside the lobby, slides out of the harbour, and a few minutes later you step onto an island where pink flamingos stroll along the waterline. Renaissance Island is the reason most people choose this hotel, and Flamingo Beach is one of the most photographed spots in Aruba.
Back on the mainland, you are in the heart of Oranjestad, the capital, with its pastel Dutch buildings, shops and restaurants right outside. The hotel is split into two wings, and one of them is reserved for adults.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort
We chose the Renaissance because it gives you two holidays in one: the town on your doorstep and your own island beach minutes away by boat. No other hotel on the island offers quite that combination.
Flamingo Beach is for adults only, so families with children will be limited to the other beaches on the island. This is a town hotel, so do not expect to roll out of bed onto the sand.
