Frangipani Resort
Pale, Mediterranean-style buildings in the middle of Meads Bay, where the step off your terrace lands you almost on the sand.
Open the balcony door and Meads Bay is right there, a long arc of white sand with clear water lapping at it. Frangipani occupies the middle of the beach, built in a Mediterranean style with soft, light colours.
Rooms and suites face the sea, and many have their own balcony or terrace. The restaurant is on the sand, and in the evening you can stroll the shoreline to other places to eat further down the bay.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Frangipani Resort
We chose Frangipani for its spot: the middle of one of Anguilla's best beaches, with a more relaxed feel than the big resorts. It is an easy base for a beach holiday with good dinners within reach.
The Mediterranean look is a little unexpected in the Caribbean, and the list of facilities is short. If you want a spa, a kids' club and several pools on site, look at the larger resorts instead.
