Aurora Anguilla
Anguilla's golf course runs along the sea at Rendezvous Bay, and from several holes you look straight across to St Martin.
Your tee shot heads towards the sea, and across the water the hills of St Martin fill the horizon. Aurora is a big resort on Rendezvous Bay, built around the island's golf course, a Greg Norman design that follows the coastline.
Away from the fairways there are several pools, a spa and a choice of restaurants, with plenty of space between them. The beach in front is long and open, and the beach bars along the bay are an easy walk in the afternoon.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Aurora Anguilla
We chose Aurora for golfers, and for families who want variety. There is enough on site to fill a week, and the course alone sets it apart from every other hotel on Anguilla.
It is large, and it can feel more like a resort complex than an island hotel. If you do not play golf and want something intimate, a smaller place will give you more of Anguilla's laid-back character.
