Sandyport Beach Resort
A quieter beach west of Cable Beach, with room for the whole family and a marina village for dinner a few steps away.
Drive west past the big Cable Beach resorts and the traffic thins out. Sandyport has a beach of its own and, just behind it, a little marina village with boats, shops and places to eat.
The rooms are large, and many of them fit a family without anyone sleeping on a sofa. It is a straightforward base on New Providence for people who would rather spend their money on boat trips than on resort prices.

Picolo’s verdict
Why we chose Sandyport Beach Resort
Sandyport gives you sand, space and calm for noticeably less than Baha Mar. The marina village means you can eat out without booking a taxi every evening.
Downtown Nassau and the cruise port are a good drive away, so sightseeing means taxis. It is a relaxed, practical place rather than a glamorous one, which suits some travellers more than others.
